Alpha schedule by weeks:

Alpha is typically 9-11 weeks long with an Alpha weekend about halfway through. This is the recommended order of topics that we find is the most effective. You can find this schedule when you log in to myAlpha and click on the "Schedule" tab:

Note: If you can't do a full weekend with 4 videos, you could show 3 videos in an Alpha Day and then add one more week to your Alpha to show the last weekend video.

Alpha session by hour:

Here are some sample schedules below that you can customise. An in-person Alpha is usually longer because it includes set up, a meal, and tear down. Guests are hosted for about 2 hours total. An online Alpha is typically shorter and lasts around 90 minutes. Please feel free to customise these samples according to your context:

After you register a course ("Create an Alpha") you will have access to the following materials all for free:

  • 3 training videos (Essentials, Small Groups, Prayer Ministry)

  • Promotional materials (guest invitations, posters, banners, etc)

  • All the Alpha videos to download and save to your computer

  • Team Guide with small group discussion questions for each week

  • Guest Guide with video outline for each week

  • Sample schedules and checklists to help you plan and prepare

    And more!
